For 62 and a half years the United States Air Force had a cryptologic presence on Misawa Air Base, Japan. This book covers The Hill from the very beginning until the day that the last airman assigned to The Hill left Misawa. This book is enhanced with over 100 photos to help explain the evolution of the units and people that helped keep the peace and ensure America's freedom during the Cold War and its aftermath. Also included are facts and events about various other units on Misawa Air Base that helped shape the lives of those assigned to The Hill. For those of you who were fortunate enough to have worked on The Hill, I hope this book evokes some wonderful memories.
